What are you going to do today? Whatever it is have a good time. I gave my son and daughter a small heart-shaped box filled with chocolates, and wrote them each a special card to let them know how much they are loved. I'll go to work and count how many women goaded their husbands into sending them something to the office. I always get a kick out of that. My guy will not send something to the office ... he did it in June so I'm sure he doesn't want to exceed his quota. Later this evening he and I will wax nostalgic and have dinner at the place where we had our first (and almost last) date about four and a half years ago. I'm actually excited about today and I'm realizing I haven't felt really excited about Valentine's Day in a long time. Hmph. Feels pretty good.

I had a birthday lunch with my friend and unfortunately had to attend a funeral today. Now I'm at work.

It wasn't a special day or anything like that and she was embarrassed. She told me to bring them home to her instead next time. Hope your Valentine's was beautiful for you and him Chele.
