What's Really On My Mind

Report cards were issued today and the Prince doesn't seem to understand the importance of passing Chemistry ... hello? Don't you need that to graduate??

How to differentiate between "punishment" and "teaching". I mean, the Princess's cell phone was confiscated by her teacher after less than a month of owning it. Now I own it. On top of that, she was less than truthful about the circumstances surrounding said confiscation. Keeping the phone from her is not going to teach her anything about being honest. She's trying to figure out a way to get her phone back, and then how to bring it back to school without getting caught.

This election. No elaboration required.

I need to call my mother.

I should call my siblings more often.

To whom much is given, much is required.

I wonder if she's homeless...

When I was in labor I remember being hooked up to a machine which registered when a contraction was coming. I wish I had a variation of this which would alert me as to when a mood swing was coming.

I think I have broken the record for meetings attended in one week. It has to be double digits. I just left one (1:45) and I have another one at 2:30.

I wonder if the groundhog is going to see his shadow tomorrow. When I was younger and living in the northeast that was really a huge concern for me.

If I don't figure out what to do with my hair, I'm going to cut it all off.

I think not having wine with dinner all this week really helped me to get up every morning at o'dark thirty and write.

I feel schlumpy when I wear flats ... no matter how cute they are.

Have a good weekend!

You got a lot on your mind, Oldgirl.

Tell the little Prince I said he better pass that Chemistry!!! Or I'm coming after him! Can't have him doing bad in my profession!

Sounds like we share a little Prince except the one in my castle finds his first language (English) to be an unnecessary use of his natural resources.

No punishment inflicted, one sentence, "I imagine you already know all the English necessary to be able to express how it feels to watch your class graduate without you." seemed to be the most motivating punishment I could have issued.

ALL OF THIS TOO SHALL PASS ;)

Cellphone confiscations, hmmm...sounds alot like my kids. Not worried about how to make it right, just worried about how to get the phone back. My oldest lost hers until the following grade period.

I look schlumpy in flats too. I've been wearing combat boots for so stinkin' long until my heels dayum near look like an abomination.

I wish my moodswings had gauge too.
