Bottom Line

The first step in becoming a more peaceful person is to have the humility to admit that, in most cases, you're creating your own emergencies.

This came from my quote-a-day calendar. It speaks to me.

It's going to be a good day. The temperature is going to reach 70. I'm happy to say good bye to February and hello to an alcohol-free March. This ought to be interesting. Anyway, I read my girl Blu's blog this morning which I usually do because she always has something positive to say and it reminded me of everything that I should be thankful for. My life is blessed. Gainful employment in this economy is almost unheard of but I'm doing quite well. I can't remember the last time I had any kind of ailment, ache or pain. My kids are typical kids but they respect me and are appreciative for the life that I'm providing for them. I've trained myself to fear debt so I'm always looking for ways to save a buck. I think before I spend and I was never like that. I'm saving regularly and I was never like that. I don't have the worries that I had 10 years ago: how we gon eat? don't answer that phone! hope the car starts ... Life for me and mine is fantastic. My life is blessed.

That quote ain't nothing but the truth. At least it gives a starting point for figuring out a good bit of the b.s. going on in our lives.

Chele, thanks for the shout out *blush*

That is one of the most amazing and truthful quotes I've ever heard. I know someone who I need to share this with in hopes to quell her restless spirit.

Have a blessed and wonderful weekend beautiful lady.

Love to live; live to love!
