Days Off

Oh how I love days off.

This morning after I dropped my daughter off at school, I returned home and did my Jillian Michaels

I think I'm ready to graduate to Level 2! Yay me!

After a shower, I had a light breakfast of two hard cooked eggs and yogurt. I watched Regis and Kelly only today Jerry O'Connell was there with Kelly.

I had planned to meet a friend for lunch but because of a family emergency she had to bail. I was dressed for lunch so I ventured out by myself and went to a new sushi place in the neighborhood. Very nice.

I came home and wrote my review while "It's Complicated" played on the television in the background. I love that movie and have probably watched it a dozen times or so.

In a few hours I'm going to pick up my daughter and we're going to head to Elizabeth City for a step show.

I love days off because my time is my own and I am free to do whatever the heck I want.

Days off rock!

What do you like to do on your days off?

The next time I have a day off, I'm going to run away from home and just do what I want. and go where I want. and come home late. LOL. The last time I had a day off, I worked out and watched some stuff I had dvred for myself. It was nice.

I have a tendency to do chores on my day off. Trying to correct that. Sigh.

These last few days off due to the snow have been filled with something I totally enjoy: writing. I think that's gonna become a mainstay of my days off!

Sounds like you had a great day! Yay Chele!

This is one of the reasons I want to work from home...my time is my own! So glad you had a rock star day!

On my days off I usually clean and I most definitely cook. I am off Monday and I plan to make some meals for the week...Pasta Figoli Soups been calling me!!

The first thing I do on a day off is wake up and open all the curtains in the house. I love to be swimming in real sunshine. Then I like to go to my favorite stores (scrapbooking, sephora, dsw) and take my time window shopping. I don't buy a thing but I stop and look at every little thing that catches my eye. And I always cook a good meal. I go to the store and pick up my ingredients and either try something new or something tried and true but I'm eating GOOD on an off day. LOL
