Crisis Averted

I had a dream last night that I was looking in the mirror and my boobs were sitting on my stomach and my stomach was hanging down so low I couldn't see what was beneath it ...

I haven't been to the gym in a week because I was sick. This morning I got up and went on down there and spent an hour on the treadmill and did thirty minutes of core work. I feel a lot better now.

I'm going to a baby shower today which actually feels kind of weird because most of the people in attendance will probably be half my age and many of the women I know that are my age are already grandmothers. Baby showers are nice, I supppose. I just don't get turned on by onesies and bouncy chairs anymore. All the "ooohing" and "ahhhing" seems a little forced and contrived. Maybe I'm just too critical.

I have to write an unflattering review this week. I'm not looking forward to it, but hey, they all can't be homeruns, right? It won't be vicious but it will be the truth. Look for it on Wednesday over at Delicious!

Hope you are having a great weekend!

We REBUKE that horrible dream you had!

I like baby showers. I always give the same gift: a baby blanket, which costs me only 8 dollars worth of yarn! And I am a vicious competitor when it comes to the games! I always walk out with a nice prize.

Looking forward to that review! Don't care if it's bad review, I just like reading whatever you write!!

The baby stuff doesn't thrill me the way it used to either. Sometimes you have to write bad stuff, but I'm sure it will still be great to read!

...I don't even get all ooh'd and aww'd when ppl show me pics of their babies. Just like, ok.

But I do like to hold them and play with thier little noses.

Have a great weekend!

I have a coworker who's expecting his first child in a couple of months and he graciously accepted some gently used items from me and it warmed my heart to know that they were so appreciated. He and his fiancee know raising a child can and will be expensive and they both saw the value in having things that were given from the heart instead of store bought by some level of obligation.

As for the review, the truth must be told whether its flattering or not.

Love to live; live to love!

Whether favorable or not, tell the truth.
