Now that I have committed to doing something everyday in May, I am truly on the hook not to slack or go back on my word.
I have been challenged by Single Ma to do the following this week:
Create a workout schedule and stick to it
Eat a piece of fruit or a vegetable with every meal
Report on my progress
I’ve never had accountability partners before … this is going to be interesting.
Here’s my workout schedule:
Sunday – Yoga
Monday – Cardio
Tuesday – weight training (at home)
Wednesday – Yoga
Thursday – weight training (at the gym)
Friday – Rest
Saturday – Cardio and Yoga
What I'm hoping to achieve at the end of this is a more serious attitude toward fitness as well as a healthier body. I've been working out since February 2009 but my consistency ebbs and flows. I get really serious during bathing suit season but then after that ... I slack off. I want to be able to keep this up all year round, so I don't have to work so hard during bathing suit season. Know what I mean?
Anyway, wish me luck

That's a vigorous workout plan. My plan would have been more like: Try to walk around a bit sometimes. Maybe. Anyways - the quote at the top of your blog? It is the same quote hanging in the bedroom of my best friend. I stayed with her for a week, her husband had just passed away. It was his wall hanging. I saw it on your blog and just took a deep breath.
I like the vegetable/fruit goal. Seven day workouts? Rock on with ya bad self!
Good luck with that! I know you can do it. Especially with the diverse schedule. You'll never be bored! Hopefully that will help with consistency.
That's a good fruit and veggie goal as well. Its more than most people eat per day.
Good Luck!
Yay! I see how you are getting it in! I'm tryna get fly like you one day. LOL!
