I registered to run in the Susan G. Komen 5k Race for the Cure!

I've never run a race before. Well, except in high school but that was a million years ago. I'm very excited and a little terrified. I can do the distance, I'm not worried about that. It's just that this is totally out of my comfort zone. But when it was suggested to me, I was like ... why not? I couldn't think of one reason why I shouldn't. So here I go ...
I'm not used to running outside so this week begins my outdoor training.
