Overheard

Ex: The princess was telling me about a phone that she wants for her birthday.

Me: I bought it this morning.

Ex: Oh ... well ... uh ... can I send you half the money for it?

Me: If you want to.

Ex: How much is half?

Me: $125

(silence)

Ex: Oh okay. Well, I'll deposit it into the account.

Me: Okay.

Ex: What about the prince? Does he need anything for school?

Me: No, he's fine.

Ex: Does he need money for books or anything.

Me: It was included in the tuition. He's fine.

Ex: Is he going to need a computer?

Me: I bought him one for graduation.

Ex: Oh. Okay. Looks like you have it covered.

Me: Yeah.

Lesson: If you leave a woman to do things on her own, don't get your feelings hurt when she does things on her own.

Sad for him. Seems this is always the case for the noncustodial. Maybe a course in "how to be in when your out" might be in order for him.

I like your last statement.
Why didn't he call the kids up and ask them what they needed?

Girl you're so pleasant....even tho you KNOW you were thinking "Lemme telllll you somethin'...".

You are to be commended for taking care of business and keeping your peace.

Furthermore...if you leave a woman to do things they'll get done, and on time.
