Day 4

I'm working hard. I've always worked hard. I want to accomplish something and I want my life to mean something. However, I'm reminded today in Zechariah that it is not by might, nor by power but by the spirit of God will I ever accomplish anything (4:6). In other words I can work like a dog for the rest of my life but if God's not in it than it all means nothing. My own strength and abilities are nothing compared to the power of God. So today, my goal is to stop trying to figure out ways to make this or that work but to rest in Him and allow Him to guide me in the direction that I need to go.

After this morning's study, I took myself to the gym and worked my biceps, triceps, shoulders, abs and did thirty minutes of intense cardio. I feel really good right now. I'm about to take the Princess to this new salon and see what they have to offer. She's starting school on Tuesday so they better hook her up.
