Quickie

Two shopping days left.

Am I wrong for being sad that my daughter wants to spend some of the Christmas holiday (which may include Christmas day) with her father and not me?

Every Christmas for 15 years we've been together and now my heart is kinda hurting.

Awww...no it's not wrong at all. I'd be sad too. Knowing me, I probably wouldn't let her go until Christmas afternoon/evening after we've shared most of the day together. But I'm selfish like that. LOL I just hope he doesn't do anything to disappoint her on Christmas Day.

Wow Chele... I know that hurts. But if she feels she needs it, and it contributes to her good feelings about her self and her father's relationship, it is a good thing overall. Just grin and bear it when she comes back and reports the nice time she had...And remember she is still coming home back to you, her place, her home.

Waaaaaaaahhhhh!!! I'd be a mess but like Lee said, she's coming back home to you.

That's difficult, and it does hurt. And she is coming home to you. So just have an extra special celebration with her before she goes.

It's natural to feel hurt. Give yourself permission to feel, and try your best to cope and deal.
