Hats for the Homeless

I've heard it said that the best way to stop worrying about your own problems is to reach out and do something for someone else.

Lately, I've been inside my own head worrying about building my business and other stuff that I had to do something.  So I did some research looking for local volunteer opportunities and I came across Hats for the Homeless.

I already knew how to crochet but I only ever made blankets and scarves.  So after a few quick lessons I've been churning out these little beanies like nobody's business!

I get to help people in my community from the security of my own home, and I'm much more relaxed and not feeling as anxious as I once did.

It's a win-win.
