The Day in Pictures

As expected, once I got started it was fun all over again. But I would not have gotten into the kitchen without my Princess helping me. Her own excitement and willingness to help me really encouraged me to do what I already love to do. And she got some lessons to boot!

She did the sweet potato pies.

She assisted with the macaroni and cheese.

She stuffed the mushrooms

She washed the greens.

She helped to make this Thanksgiving one of the happiest. I am so blessed.

I am so happy that you got to spend some quality time with your daughter. I'm sure she will treasure this time always.

Now I have visions of stuffed mushrooms swirling around in my head. I have never been able to make homemade mac n cheese taste like I want it to.. hmph! She'll remember those recipes when she has her own kids and the memories will definitely make her smile. I still think back on helping my Aunt bake 500 cakes during the holidays.

that's indeed a blessing and you are instilling in her some good recipes and the ability to care for her own family!

I loves it!!

The princess was working it out baby! Dinner looked fab. Making my mouth water again! I need to be working out after all these leftovers I'm having! Oh and I'm gonna have to get that stuffed mushroom recipe to add to the Christmas dinner menu. Please and thank you!
