So How's the Fast Going?
Wild rice and almond casserole. The recipe doesn’t call for it but I added Portobello mushroom
So far each dish has been delicious. Seriously. I’m not saying that I’m going all vegan or even vegetarian … for real, I am planning my first “after fast” meal and it will contain some kind of animal protein and my cheesiest macaroni and cheese and nice glass of wine … but I can definitely see myself having more meatless meals. I don’t feel as though I’m losing anything.
Except weight. This was unexpected and I’m feeling some kinda way about it. I’ve lost four pounds in the last 10 days. I was pretty content with my weight and losing pounds was not in the plan but it’s happening. I don’t think I’ll have an issue getting it back when it’s all said and done. **shrugs**
